The Parent Forum

 

The Parent Forum is a representative group of parents, we raise money for the school and are also there to represent parental views to the school (teachers and headmaster). We meet on average once every 6 weeks in the staff room. All parents are automatically members of the forum and everyone is welcome to attend meetings. We organise the Christmas and May Fairs, events which need lots of helpers!  We also try to hold fund raisers and social events through out the school year. Many parents like to help out at these events but don't have the time to come along to meetings or be involved in the organising, that's never a problem we welcome help at any time.

The forum consists of a main committee:

The Chair - Bernadette Brown

Vice chair - Kirsty Jackson

Secretary - Gwen Raez

Clerk to  the Forum - Gill Bishopp.

The head teacher is also in attendance with a representative from the teaching staff and our local Councilor, Kate Mckenzie are also there to offer help and advice.

Meeting dates are posted on the calendar and on the notice board in the playground and the nursery.

 

Please come along, all parents from nursery to P7 are welcome.
